Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers large, comfortable rooms with some amenities catered for, although the removal of a kettle in favor of a coffee-making machine may not suit everyone's taste. The initial stuffiness and dust were minor drawbacks upon arrival, but overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
I found the hotel to have a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were not as depicted on the website, and the heating system was uncomfortable. Some areas felt tired, like the four-poster canopy and bathroom door knob. However, the staff were extremely polite and friendly, although there were some issues with noise during a meal. The location was great for our needs but lacked charm, being near a busy road. The dining options were decent but marred by overcooked food and unbearable traffic noise. Overall, a somewhat average experience with room for improvement.
The hotel is perfect for an intimate celebration meal, beautifully decorated, with good room size, a nice restaurant, and bar. However, the single glazing in the rooms was not adequate. Attention to detail was lacking in some areas.
